A Bit of an Update…
Hi all, it’s been a fair while since I last made a post on the website. Shortly before that post I had started a new job, and being eager to succeed I really threw myself into my work.
2 years on, I have now found my bearings and am comfortable in my position, so I now have time again to devote to my hobbies and writing. I’m hoping to keep a once a month cadence going forward for posts with the second Sunday of every month being the expected release cycle.
In the past few years, I’ve gone through quite a journey, flirted with various hobbies and pass times and eventually returned back to the core hobbies I find the most joy in.
I’ve now, after a 5 year gap from Japanese performance cars, returned to them. An impulse purchase early this year of a beautiful but slightly unloved Eunos Roadster (Mazda MX5 or Miata for the non Japanese markets) brought me right back to the cars I used to drive and love working on during my late teens and early twenties. By the time I had hit my mid 20s I had graduated to very fast Jaguars and the pure experience of driving the Roadster again after so long made me remember what I had given up in driving pleasure, for luxury and status.
Long story short, the Jaguars are gone, the stable has since grown to 2 Eunos Roadsters and a Subaru Impreza WRX wagon that I will no doubt be writing about to share the journey these cars will go through under my ownership and care. The initial Eunos did not stay standard for very long at all.
Elsewhere, I’ve explored various gadgets for brewing tea, experimented with kombucha, and sampled a vast range of teas so there will be plenty of content to be updated and much learning to be shared with all of you lovely readers. This time in the kitchen did motivate me to begin cooking more too so there will be new sections to be added to the website with hints and articles in the same easy to understand way as I have done in the other parts of the site.
Finally, for this brief update, there’s been a new addition to the family. I’ve re-ignited my love of fish keeping and have set up a small fish tank in my room, with a RO water filter in the garage, and there will be plenty of articles on fish keeping and advice for the aspiring fish keeper to look forward to.
